Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for school and clinic-based roles. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to help deliver therapy services, implement treatment plans, and support communication goals for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of therapy materials and activities.
• Document student progress during therapy sessions and report observations to the supervising SLP.
• Support data collection for progress monitoring and IEP development.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication across settings.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Participate in training, supervision meetings, and professional development as required.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (as required by [State]).
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
