Duties

• Assist pathologists in the preparation and examination of tissue specimens.

• Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately describe findings.
• Participate in patient care activities, contributing to early intervention strategies when necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists and pediatric specialists, to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for this role.
• Experience or coursework in patient assessment techniques.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
