Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Texas Therapy Consultants is seeking a dependable and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based speech therapy services to students at two Houston-area campuses.

This is a part-time position requiring availability 2 days per week. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and provide services according to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Implement treatment plans and IEP speech-language goals.
• Collect and document student performance and progress data.
• Complete session notes and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP, teachers, school staff, and TTC team.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow school and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Texas SLPA license required.
• Appropriate educational background in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel between assigned campuses as needed.
• Reliable transportation required.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2 days per week during regular school hours.

Locations: Houston, TX 77082 and Richmond, TX 77407.
