Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part-time Speech Language Pathology Assistant with a passion for helping children.

Duties:

• Implement speech and language intervention services based on established treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Engage with preschool-aged children in a supportive and encouraging manner.
• Utilize effective communication strategies to facilitate language development.

Skills:

• Proficient in documentation using SOAP note model for accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to collect and analyze data on treatment outcomes for progress reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with fellow team members and educators.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging children in speech and language activities.

Documentation and Progress:

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation using the SOAP note model.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on treatment outcomes for progress reports.
• Regularly communicate progress to parents, teachers, and the broader team.
