Speech Language Therapist

About the role

Provide SLT assessment and treatment for people of all ages with long term conditions or disabilities. Work as part of a comprehensive community health team. Approximately 1 day per month, with paid travel for those not based on Waiheke.

Key responsibilities

• Provide SLT assessment and treatment for people of all ages with long term conditions or disabilities
• Work as part of a comprehensive community health team
• Support feeding/swallowing, communication and health literacy referrals
• Accept paediatric referrals within a primarily adult-focused caseload

About you

• New Zealand registered speech-language therapist
• Experience with a wide range of clients and approaches
• Ability to support feeding/swallowing, communication and health literacy referrals
• Able to accept paediatric referrals, within a primarily adult-focused caseload
