At Kids On The Move (KOTM), we believe that communication is a bridge to connection, confidence, and lifelong learning. For 40 years, we’ve partnered with families to support children’s development, providing them with the tools they need to thrive. Our Early Intervention program empowers parents and young children through collaborative, research-based strategies that foster growth in all areas of development.

We are seeking a Speech Language Therapist to join our Early Intervention team, working with children ages 0 to 3 years old and their families. In this role, you’ll serve as the in-house specialist in communication and language development, helping families understand their child’s progress while equipping them with strategies to support ongoing growth. If you’re passionate about making a lasting impact on a child’s ability to communicate and connect, we’d love to hear from you!

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Must have current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Utah

  • Use of a personal vehicle with continuous automobile insurance that meets state minimum requirements
  • Help develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address parent-identified priorities
  • Educate parents on their child’s developmental status and equip them with strategies to support progress
  • Facilitate the parent-child relationship in ways that match individual learning styles and needs
  • Implement individual and group activities at home visits and in the center to help families achieve their child’s developmental goals
  • Conduct ongoing assessments in all areas of development or within specialty areas as needed
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to ensure children receive the most effective care
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and tracking sheets
  • Attend Child Study meetings, IFSP reviews, and team consultations to support family and child needs

Speech Language Therapist Benefits & Schedule:

  • Full-time position with a supportive and collaborative team
  • Some evening and weekend work required to meet family needs
