Speech Pathologist

About the role

The Patient Approach Cancer & Wellness Centre is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary team in Cleveland. This is a room rental/service arrangement where practitioners operate independently while being part of The Patient Approach team. The role offers flexibility to consult on Wednesdays with the opportunity to take on additional AM, PM or full-day sessions. The Centre welcomes Speech Pathologists working with children, adults, or a combination of both, and supports practitioners looking to bring an existing caseload or build a private practice from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology services across paediatric and/or adult populations
• Work with communication, speech, language, voice, swallowing and other areas within scope of practice
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Deliver patient-centred care

• Speech Pathologist with experience working across paediatric and/or adult Speech Pathology
• Values collaboration and patient-centred care
• Committed to being part of a multidisciplinary team
• May have an established private caseload or be looking to build one

The Patient Approach Cancer & Wellness Centre is a growing multidisciplinary health and wellness centre located in Cleveland, Brisbane Bayside. The Centre brings together a diverse range of allied health and wellness practitioners under one roof, allowing clinicians to maintain the independence of their own practice while benefiting from being part of a connected and collaborative team. While the Centre has a strong focus on cancer and chronic illness, it is not exclusively an oncology service and sees general community patients across the lifespan, alongside people living with cancer, chronic illness, disability and other complex health conditions. The Centre provides professional consulting rooms, reception and administration support, appointment bookings and diary management, patient billing and payment processing, centre-wide marketing and promotion, website and social media presence, internal and external referral opportunities, and a supportive and welcoming team environment.
