About Us

Capability Support Services is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary NDIS provider supporting over 2,500 participants across Australia. Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and Behaviour Support Practitioners who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional participant outcomes.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Brisbane team.

The Opportunity

This contractor role offers flexibility, autonomy and strong organisational support.

You will primarily work from home while delivering services in participant homes, schools, early learning centres, workplaces and community settings. We can tailor your caseload to suit your interests, experience and preferred age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments

Deliver evidence-based speech pathology interventions

Develop therapy plans aligned with participant goals

Complete reports and recommendations for NDIS participants

Support participants with communication, social interaction, literacy, feeding and swallowing needs

Provide coaching and training to families, support workers and educators

Collaborate with participants' support networks and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You

You are a passionate Speech Pathologist who is committed to delivering person-centred supports and achieving meaningful outcomes for participants.

To Be Successful You Will Have

Experience working with paediatric and/or adult participants

Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

Experience within the NDIS sector highly regarded

Essential Requirements

Membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Current Driver Licence

Reliable motor vehicle

Professional Indemnity Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
