About our client
Our client provides allied health services to children and adults living with disability through the NDIS. Services are delivered from clinics in South Lake and Mandurah, as well as participant homes, schools, workplaces and other community settings south of the river.

Due to an increase in incoming work, the organisation is seeking an additional Speech Pathologist to support its participant caseload.

You will work from the South Lake and Mandurah clinics, as well as providing services in participants' homes, schools, workplaces and other community settings south of the river. Appointments are allocated geographically where practical, with work-related travel counted as working time. The position is open to graduates through to experienced Speech Pathologists, with mentoring and on-the-job support available for graduates.

  • Liaise with participants, families, schools, workplaces and other stakeholders.

You will manage your weekly caseload while balancing participant appointments, travel, documentation and administration.

About you
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist who can provide services to children and adults living with disability across clinic and community environments.
Previous NDIS experience is advantageous, while graduates with relevant placement experience and an understanding of disability services are encouraged to apply.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A relevant Speech Pathology degree.
  • Eligibility to practise as a Speech Pathologist in Australia and meet professional requirements applicable to the role.
  • A current Australian driver's licence and ability to travel to community-based appointments.
  • Exposure to, or knowledge of, the NDIS.
  • Capability in speech pathology assessment, therapy and care planning.
  • Clinical documentation and report-writing capability.
  • The ability to manage a participant caseload, appointments and administration.
  • Communication skills for working with participants, families and other stakeholders.

What's on offer

  • Mentoring and on-the-job support for graduates.
  • Work-related travel counted as working time.
  • A combination of clinic and community-based appointments.
  • A caseload involving children and adults.
