• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques in person or via telehealth platforms to maximize patient progress.
• Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and support systems.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy strategies as needed to meet evolving goals and needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology by participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Skills

• Proven experience implementing speech-language therapy plans for diverse populations including individuals with disabilities or communication challenges.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
• Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication skills for parent collaboration, patient education, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and patient care documentation standards.
• Ability to assess patients’ needs accurately and develop targeted intervention strategies that promote functional communication skills.
