SPEECH THERAPIST

The Speech Therapist conducts assessments and develops individualized therapeutic programs to improve communication and swallowing skills.

They collaborate with the care team, teach patients and families, and monitor progress, documenting all activities per ethical and agency standards.

Essential duties include planning, implementing, supervising therapy, and participating in case conferences and quality evaluations.

Requirements encompass a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure, ASHA certification, and preferably one year of home health experience.

Physical stamina, strong communication skills, professionalism, adaptability, and a valid driver’s license with insurance are necessary.
