Speech Therapist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients. You will work closely with patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics, some adult as well, to help improve their speech and language skills. This position is based in an office setting.

Duties:

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language skills
• Utilize various techniques and exercises to enhance communication abilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Valid state license or certification as a Speech Therapist
• Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
• Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
