Speech Therapist | PRN

The Speech Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

• Evaluates communication challenges through assessments and medical history review.

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques.

• Conducts therapy, provides counseling, and teaches patients and families strategies to improve communication.

• Collaborates with healthcare teams, educators, and other professionals for coordinated care.

• Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to regulatory standards.

• Participates in research, training, and community education activities.

• Supports departmental quality initiatives and maintains positive relationships with patients and staff.

Qualifications include a current Texas license, BLS certification, and competencies in assessment, treatment, communication, and teamwork.
