Speech Therapist/Language Pathologist

The role:

We are looking for a qualified Speech Therapist with 0-1 year of experience working with children on the spectrum and various speech disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Primary work would be conducting one-on-one therapy sessions for kids;
• Perform assessments for speech-language disorders for special children with one or multiple disorder like speech delays, Autism, Learning disabilities etc.;
• Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on a daily basis through discussion post-session;
• Develop individualised plans based on the assessment findings and in consultation with

the child’s parents;

• Establish understanding, expectations, and goals with parents of children;
• On an ongoing basis, keep abreast with profession knowledge and skill upgrading by reviewing publications, recent therapy skills and undergoing certifications;
• Provide caregiver consultation as needed and meet with caregivers throughout;
• Ensure the safety and well-being of kids;
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's progress, data evaluations, and

treatment plans;

• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with parents, caregivers and relevant stakeholders;
• Be willing to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including personal and professional development and attend workshops on topics related to inclusion and education for children with special needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in the area of Speech-Language Pathology;
• Experience with OPD techniques;
• Able to work on-site 5.5 days a week;
• Mandatory: Fluency in English; Desired: Fluency in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil;
• Can join IMMEDIATELY (Urgent need)
