Spencer Building Maintenance has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor! Join an essential company to service the buildings and facilities in your community. Learn new, practical skills and gain experience with on-the-job training.

Wage: $20

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm - these hours may be subject to change depending on operational needs.

Skills:

• Able to perform the duties of supervised staff

• Completes regular quality inspections of assigned client

• Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.

• Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior

• Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism

• Asks questions to understand why we do what we do and how we do it - champions change when improvements can be made

• Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team

• Collaborative style with strong influencing skills • Previous experience of cleaning procedures and practices

• Good time management

• Proficient written and verbal English communication

• Strong employee and client focus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• Experienced with stocking and replenishing Supplies

• Requires following safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).

Requirements:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

• Must be able to start training immediately.

• 18 years of age or older

• A pre-employment criminal background check is required

• Previous Lead/Supervisor experience in Janitorial Role a must

• A valid driver license and good driving record is required.
