Spirit Next is your opportunity to build a career with one of Tasmania’s most iconic organisations at a time of major transformation, including the introduction of two new vessels and a new terminal in Devonport.

This is more than a graduate program, it’s your chance to go behind the journey and see how it all works.

About the program

Spirit Next is a 12-month graduate program designed to give you real, hands-on experience across our business.

We’re open to graduates at different stages whether you’re ready to jump straight in this year or planning ahead for 2027. If you’re a recent graduate or about to finish your studies, and ready to step into a full-time program, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll complete three rotations, building a well-rounded understanding of how we operate.

Rotations may include:

• People & Culture – help shape our culture, support our people and see how great teams are built behind the scenes
• Corporate Services – gain exposure to how the business runs day-to-day, from strategy to support functions
• Commercial (passengers and freight) – understand how we connect Tasmania with the mainland and keep customers and industry moving
• Marketing – work on campaigns, storytelling and how we bring the Spirit brand to life
• Operations – get close to the action across port, marine and customer experience and see what it takes to keep everything running
• Finance – get insight into how we manage performance, investment and decision-making across the business
