Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Splunk Observability Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in application and infrastructure observability. The role will focus on building, managing, troubleshooting, and migrating observability solutions using Splunk Observability Cloud and OpenTelemetry.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Splunk Observability Cloud solutions.
• Build and maintain dashboards, detectors, alerts, SLOs and monitoring workflows.
• Configure and support Splunk APM and Infrastructure Monitoring.
• Analyze metrics, traces and telemetry for application troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Implement and manage OpenTelemetry (OTel) Collectors and telemetry pipelines.
• Support migration of observability artifacts from Honeycomb to Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Configure application/service monitoring, distributed tracing and infrastructure monitoring.
• Troubleshoot performance, latency, availability and reliability issues.
• Work with SRE, DevOps, Platform and application teams to improve observability standards.

• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud
• Splunk APM & Infrastructure Monitoring
• OpenTelemetry / OTel Collector
• Dashboards, Detectors & Alerts
• SLO / SLI monitoring
• Metrics and distributed tracing
• Kubernetes and cloud observability
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Preferred

• Honeycomb experience
• Experience migrating Honeycomb → Splunk Observability Cloud
• SignalFlow knowledge
• SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering background

Important: This requirement is specifically for Splunk Observability Cloud (O11y) expertise, not primarily Splunk Enterprise/SIEM.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
