SPM Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop sheet metal parts using Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, and other relevant software.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for production purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop BOMs (Bill of Materials) and GDTs (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

Job Requirements :

• 3-7 years of experience in SPM (Sheet Metal Parts) design engineering.
• Proficiency in DFA (Design for Assembly), DFM (Design for Manufacturability), NPD (New Product Development), and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials science.
• Experience with creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor.
