Spm Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new machines to improve production efficiency, product quality and productivity.
• Create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings and BOMs for machines, tools, jigs, fixtures and mechanical systems.
• Design and develop laboratory testing machines and prototypes, including trials, validation and design refinement.
• Modify and upgrade existing machines to resolve quality issues and enhance performance.
• Plan machine development activities as per production requirements and ensure timely execution.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for standard components and manufactured parts.
• Provide functional guidance to engineering teams, vendors and internal stakeholders for design, manufacturing and assembly.

Qualification

• Diploma/ B.tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced Diploma/ B.tech in Computer-Aided Tool Design

Work Experience

6-7 years of engineering experience; preferably in a medical device/equipment manufacturing company.
