ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is an international offshore engineering and installation company specializing in the deployment of thermoplastic composite pipes (TCP) and advanced subsea solutions. They focus on delivering safe, efficient, and innovative offshore operations to support global energy infrastructure projects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, stage, and spool/unspool TCP pipe from reels or spools.
• Monitor and control reel/pulley tensions to prevent deformation or damage.
• Ensure correct bending radius, avoid kinks, twists, or flattening.
• Guide pipe via rollers or tensioners during spool-in / spool-out.
• Inspect TCP pipe upon delivery for defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
• Prepare pipe (cutting, banding, end protection, jointing/splicing if required).
• Assist in mobilization and demobilization of spooling equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on spooling tools.
• Adhere to offshore safety protocols and quality control processes.
• Maintain accurate spooling logs and communicate with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience with spooling, cable, or pipe deployment, or similar offshore mechanical operations.
• TCP-specific or composite pipe experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety standards and equipment handling.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary offshore team.

Others:

• Offshore certification preferred.
• Immediately available or can mobilize end of October.
