Spray Drying Production Technician

About the Role

As a Spray Drying Production Technician, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of high-quality ingredients by operating advanced spray drying equipment. You will ensure product integrity through precise process control, rigorous sanitation standards, and efficient material handling to support our large-scale production goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of processing equipment to maintain strict hygiene standards.
• Perform chemical titrations and maintain a sanitized production environment to meet safety and quality benchmarks.
• Manage the accurate packaging of finished powders into bags and super sacs, ensuring all labeling and documentation is precise.
• Conduct routine Quality Control inspections and HACCP checks to guarantee product consistency and compliance.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
• Monitor production parameters to optimize output and minimize waste during the spray drying process.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or compounding environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP protocols.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and handling 35 lb hoses.
• Comfort working in a production environment with varying temperatures.
• Proven experience safely operating a forklift.

Preferred Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience with chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex formula instructions.
• Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
