Spray Preparation Operative

Turn Tired Units into Something to Be Proud Of!

Got an eye for detail? Enjoy working with your hands? Like the idea of taking something worn and bringing it back to life?

At Liberty Guard (UK) Ltd, we're looking for a Spray Preparation Operative to join our refurbishment team at our Sandtoft Head Office. Every day is different, and every unit that leaves our workshop has your handywork behind it.

No experience with air-fed sanders? No problem. Never worked in a spray preparation environment before? That's fine too. If you've got a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and don't mind getting a bit dusty now and then, we'll provide the training.

Think of yourself as the person who prepares the canvas before the masterpiece.

You'll be:

• · Bringing welfare and accommodation units back to life
• · Using air-fed sanders, hand tools and specialist preparation equipment
• · Filling, sanding, smoothing and perfecting surfaces ready for paint
• · Spotting imperfections that others might miss
• · Helping maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
• · Working alongside a friendly team who know how to have a laugh while getting the job done
• · Taking pride in seeing the finished product roll out of the workshop looking brand new

You don't need a list of qualifications as long as you can bring:

✔ A positive attitude

✔ A willingness to learn new skills

✔ Good attention to detail

✔ Pride in a job well done

✔ Reliability and a strong work ethic

✔ The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

✔ A practical, hands-on approach

Experience in sanding, body shop work, manufacturing, refurbishment, construction, mechanics, DIY projects or similar environments is a bonus, but it's not essential.

• · Monday to Friday and no weekend shift
• · Stable, long-term employment with a growing UK business
• · A forklift truck licence would be useful, but it's not essential.
• · Own transport is essential and non-negotiable due to our location.

Sound Like Your Kind of Job?

If you'd rather be doing something practical than sitting behind a desk all day, and you enjoy seeing the results of your hard work at the end of every shift, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us turn well-used welfare units into something that looks ready for day one again. Liberty Guard (UK) Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
