Spraypainter & Sandblaster

MAK Diesel & Earthmoving is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Spray Painter/Sandblaster to join our Mount Isa workshop team.

 The successful candidate will ideally have experience with heavy earthmoving machinery and equipment rebuilds, take pride in producing quality work and thrive in a team environment. You’ll play an important role in our rebuild and maintenance operations while upholding our commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

MAK Diesel & Earthmoving is an established and growing business specialising in heavy equipment rebuilds, servicing and repairs, line boring, machinery sales and hire, and parts sales. With multiple well-equipped workshops across Mount Isa and Townsville, we support customers and equipment operating throughout Australia.

Key Responsibilities & Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Experienced Spraypainter/Sandblaster
• Immediate start
• High level of attention-to-detail
• Manage workflow and meet quoted timeframes
• Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environment

Requirements for position:

• Current Manual Driver’s License
• Forklift license is not mandatory but is preferred
• The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
• The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
• Mount Isa based position – The position does not support fly in/fly out rosters
