About the role

We are looking for an experienced Spring Boot Developer with strong expertise in healthcare interoperability and backend application development. The ideal candidate will develop, integrate, and maintain healthcare applications and APIs using Spring Boot and industry-standard healthcare data exchange formats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for healthcare systems and applications.
• Implement healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7 V2, HL7 FHIR, CDA/CCDA, and other healthcare messaging standards.
• Work with XML and JSON data formats for healthcare data exchange.
• Integrate healthcare applications with external systems and platforms.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and other development teams.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system deployments.
• Ensure applications follow security, performance, and coding best practices.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/Spring Boot development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and REST API development.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, particularly HL7 V2, HL7 FHIR, and CDA/CCDA.
• Experience with healthcare messaging formats such as XML and JSON.
• Experience integrating healthcare systems and exchanging healthcare data.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and API integration.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with healthcare information systems or healthcare integration projects.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
