Spring Intern - Cyber Security

Summary The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a pivotal part in maintaining the security and integrity of data systems and ensuring the protection of our clients' information. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and gain hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity within a dynamic and evolving industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans on our information systems and network infrastructure. Recommend hardware/software adjustments as needed (including recommended software/hardware vendors)
• Analyze security data and logs to detect and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Lead the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures
• Take the lead in incident response and recovery efforts, including root cause analysis and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and address cybersecurity challenges
• Stay up to date with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices. Recommend adjustments as needed
• Provide technical support and guidance to employees on security-related matters
• Design and implement cybersecurity awareness training and education initiatives for the organization
