Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely, efficiently, and accurately delivering 80–90 packages per day within a designated route. This role requires strong time‑management skills, consistent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Route Delivery — Load vehicle, organize packages, and complete 80–90 stops per day.
• Package Handling — Lift, carry, and deliver packages up to 50 lbs; ensure secure placement at delivery locations.
• Vehicle Operation — Operate company‑provided delivery vans safely and follow all DOT and company guidelines.
• Customer Interaction — Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers.
• Scanning & Documentation — Use handheld devices to scan packages, confirm deliveries, and update route progress.
• Route Efficiency — Follow optimized routes, manage time effectively, and maintain high delivery accuracy.
• Safety Compliance — Adhere to all safety protocols, including safe lifting techniques and defensive driving.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Experience in delivery or logistics preferred but not required

Work Environment

• Fast‑paced, physical role with frequent entry/exit from the vehicle
• Independent work with performance measured by delivery accuracy and timeliness
