SQA Engineer

For this role, we’re looking for someone who can go beyond executing test cases — someone who can own quality, improve QA processes, work closely with development teams, and help us build an AI-assisted approach to software testing. As a Software QA at TenTwenty, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, ensuring top-quality digital products that enhance user experiences.

Location: Goa, India (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

· Manage QA activities across web, mobile, and backend applications.

· Design and execute comprehensive functional, regression, integration, API, UI/UX, responsiveness, performance, security, and exploratory testing.

· Review requirements, designs, and technical documentation to identify gaps and risks early.

· Create and maintain test cases, test plans, test scenarios, and QA documentation.

· Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

· Work with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, or similar tools.

· Contribute to AI-assisted workflows, test execution, and reporting.

· Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while working closely with developers.

· Participate in release validation, UAT support, and production sanity checks.

· Analyze recurring defects and recommend improvements to prevent them.

· Help establish and improve QA standards, processes, and best practices.

What we’re looking for:

· 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.

· Strong experience in manual testing with a solid understanding of QA methodologies.

· Experience with automation testing and willingness to expand automation coverage.

· Hands-on experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.

· Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development environments.

· Experience with tools such as Postman, Playwright, Appium, Git, or similar tools.

· Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and software testing principles.

· Ability to take ownership of QA activities and work independently.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

· Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Grok, or similar tools for QA.

· Experience building or maintaining AI-assisted QA/automation workflows.

· Knowledge of JMeter or performance testing.

· Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins.

· Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium.

Required Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.

· Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
