The Senior SQL Developer will be a pivotal member of the data engineering team, specializing in the development and optimization of data solutions in a consulting environment. Based in Bangalore, this role is integral to designing and managing scalable data platforms that support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives.

Description

• 6-9 years of experience in SQL development and data engineering, with a focus on Data Lake architecture and management.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL development across various database systems like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Strong experience in Data Warehousing, Dimensional Data Modelling, and AI/ML data modeling techniques.
• Skilled in Python for data engineering tasks, including data processing and automation.
• Expertise in Vector Database architecture and management, with experience in tools like Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
• Proven ability to conduct query performance tuning and database optimization, ensuring efficient data operations.
• Experience with GenAI applications, RAG techniques, and large-scale data management of structured and unstructured datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support enterprise data solutions.
• Build and maintain enterprise Data Lakes, ensuring the integration and governance of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Develop scalable data models tailored for Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI applications.
• Create and manage data ingestion, transformation, and preparation pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility.
• Architect and manage Vector Database solutions, utilizing technologies like Pinecone, Qdrant, and Milvus to support GenAI and semantic search applications.
• Ensure the quality, security, performance, and scalability of data platforms, implementing best practices in data governance and management.
• Integrate and synthesize data from multiple enterprise systems, enhancing the organizations data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Business, Analytics, and AI teams to design and deliver comprehensive data solutions that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
