What You'll do:

• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases

• Write complex SQL queries for retrieving and processing data.

• Create and maintain Stored Procedures (SPs) and SQL Functions.

• Perform database/query tuning — making slow queries and procedures run faster.

• Analyze existing SQL code and identify performance bottlenecks.

• Help optimize Stored Procedures and queries used by applications.

• Work with the development/IT teams when database issues affect applications.

• Potentially participate in DevOps processes, such as deployments, CI/CD pipelines, version control and automated database releases.

• Work in a hybrid model, being in the Lisbon office 2 days per week.

What You Are:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Management Informatics, or a similar area.

• At least 3 years of SQL Server experience.

• Strong SQL knowledge.

• Experience creating Stored Procedures and Functions.

• Ability to write advanced/complex queries.

• Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning.

• Good English and Portuguese.
