SQL Developer | Bacolod

The SQL Developer will develop and enhance MS SQL queries and procedures, and create custom reports as needed by different end clients and end users.

You will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions
• Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention
• Perform regular database management duties including backups and audits
• Ensure that SQL databases remain accessible and stable
• Research required data, review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables and suggest new queries
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting
• Investigate exceptions about asset movements

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related course
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript (not required but an advantage)
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL/NewSQL databases (not required but an advantage)
