SQL Expert

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SQL Expert with strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, managing and analyzing databases, extracting data, and developing reports. The ideal candidate should be capable of working with large datasets, optimizing query performance, troubleshooting database issues, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity to support business operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers as required.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze large datasets and generate customized reports to support operational and management requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot SQL query errors, database performance issues, and data discrepancies.
• Optimize query execution plans, indexing, joins, and database structures to improve performance.
• Perform database maintenance, data cleanup, and integrity checks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutions.
• Assist in database design, table relationships, and schema modifications where required.
• Maintain documentation of SQL queries, database processes, and reporting procedures.
• Ensure data security, confidentiality, and compliance with established database access policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience working extensively with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong command of complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions.
• Hands-on experience with stored procedures, views, functions, and query optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle large datasets and deliver accurate results within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database reporting is an advantage.
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational database management systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or similar database tools.
• Knowledge of database indexing, execution plans, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and access management.
• Experience integrating SQL data with business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into efficient database queries.

Pay: Up to Rs200,000.00 per month
