Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, high availability, cloud database services, and SQL Server troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of SQL Server environments and be available for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across production and non-production environments.
• Perform full, differential, and transaction log backups and handle database restoration and recovery.
• Monitor database performance and perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Configure and troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Clustering environments.
• Work with cloud database services including Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS for SQL Server.
• Support database migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Perform SQL Server patching, upgrades, version upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot database performance, availability, connectivity, and operational issues.
• Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and overall performance.
• Follow database security, backup, recovery, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Good knowledge of Backup & Restore, including full, differential, and transaction log backups.
• Experience in SQL Server Performance Tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups.
• Experience with SQL Server Failover Clustering.
• Working experience with Azure SQL Database and/or AWS RDS for SQL Server.
• Exposure to cloud database migration and modernization projects.
• Experience with SQL Server patching and version upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Candidates available for immediate joining are preferred.
