What we’re looking for:

• Professional experience in SQL Server / Database Administration , with a strong focus on performance and query optimization
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and T-SQL , including query tuning and DML operations
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server internals , namely execution plans, query optimizer, statistics and indexing
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting , ideally using Query Store and Extended Events
• Experience in high-volume OLTP environments , where performance, availability and reliability are critical
• Strong ability to analyse and optimize database performance in mission-critical environments
• Experience with database design and performance optimization , beyond isolated query tuning
• Senior or Expert level, with a practical and problem-solving mindset
