Job Purpose

As a Senior Product Manager within the Retention squad, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of ECCO’s ecommerce products by combining strong business acumen with data-driven product thinking. You will be responsible for uncovering commercial opportunities through quantitative and qualitative insights, applying structured problem-solving to increase the commercial viability of ecommerce-related software development, and taking full ownership of the initiative lifecycle – from idea discovery through to production release, performance reporting, and continuous improvement.

Additional responsibilities include delivery management in the capacity of a SCRUM Product Owner.

The Product Manager collaborates across teams to shape and deliver commercially impactful digital products, maintaining end-to-end ownership for a defined area of the ecommerce product portfolio together with their dedicated squad.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to track progress and address any issues.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog.
  • Ensure all team members have the necessary resources and support to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Analyze squad and product performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate sprint status, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between team members and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support business owners with commercial opportunity analysis using quantitative data (conversion, revenue, AOV, retention) and qualitative insights (user research, customer interviews, support feedback) to inform the product roadmap.
  • Contribute to the development lifecycle: discovery, definition, prioritisation, development, release, post-launch reporting, and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Define and track success metrics for each initiative, producing regular performance reports for stakeholders and using findings to drive iterative improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a strong track record of owning features or initiatives end-to-end in an ecommerce or digital commerce context.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes such as revenue, conversion, customer lifetime value, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using quantitative data (analytics platforms, A/B testing, funnel analysis) and qualitative methods (user interviews, usability testing, surveys) to uncover insights and validate decisions.
  • Structured problem-solving mindset, with experience translating complex business or technical challenges into clear, prioritised product solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
