Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage accounting, taxation, financial reporting, compliance, and MIS activities for our real estate business. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of real estate accounting, GST, TDS, income tax, project accounting, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle accounting for real estate projects, including project-wise expenses, revenue, receivables, and payables.

• Prepare and monitor project-wise MIS reports, budgets, cash flows, and financial analysis.

• Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.

• Handle GST returns, reconciliations, TDS returns, and related documentation.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and vendor/customer ledgers.

• Review invoices, payment requests, expenses, and supporting documents.

• Monitor receivables from customers and payments to vendors/contractors.

• Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements.

• Ensure proper accounting and documentation for land purchases, development costs, construction expenses, and project-related transactions.

• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and Companies Act requirements.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective measures.

• Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making.

• Maintain proper records and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Real Estate / Construction Accounting.

• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Experience in project accounting and MIS reporting.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Tally / ERP and MS Excel.

• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a real estate developer or construction company will be preferred.

• Candidates with CA qualification and real estate accounting experience will be given preference.

• Experience in handling multiple projects and project-wise accounting/MIS is desirable.
