Sr. Accountant

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Experience: 3–15Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently handle end-to-end accounting and finance activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, payroll-related accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, cash and bank entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation.
• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and returns.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage income & expense accounting and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in finalization of accounts and audit.
• Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes and payment vouchers.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and statutory authorities.
• Maintain proper records for statutory compliance and financial transactions.
• Support payroll accounting, employee reimbursement and salary-related entries.
• Prepare MIS reports, management reports and other financial statements as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation rules.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP / Accounting Software.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS and Income Tax basics.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel including formulas, Pivot Tables and reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to independently manage complete accounting operations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Should be an Accounts All-Rounder capable of independently handling complete accounting work.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, real estate, retail, construction or corporate environment will be preferred.
• Should be responsible, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹60,000/month, depending on experience, skills and interview performance.

Pay: ₹14,386.81 - ₹60,000.00 per month
