Sr. Accountant

Job description: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Account Executive with good experience in accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, reconciliations, and MIS reporting. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, maintain end-to-end audit readiness, lead robust reconciliation mechanisms, and support management with reliable financial insights.
Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & General Accounting Manage daily accounting, General Ledger (GL) maintenance, and end-to-end AP/AR Cycles. Process purchase/sales bills and verify purchase invoices against Purchase Orders (PO). Handle credit/debit notes and differential invoice management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Auditing, Controls & Reconciliations Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth and timely closure of statutory and tax audits. Maintain complete documentation, workpapers, and schedules required for audit verification. Oversee thorough bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to minimize discrepancies. Monitor vendor management metrics and follow up on customer account aging, outstanding balances, and open ledger items.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Compute and file timely returns for GST, TDS, TCS, and Professional Tax (PT). Perform regular GST mismatch analysis and compliance management. Ensure strict adherence to local regulations and official compliance portals.
   4. Inventory, Store Accounting & Treasury Supervise inventory and store accounting including GRN, MIRR, and material issue entries. Reconcile job work dispatches and receipts to maintain clean and updated stock management records. Manage petty cash, staff advance ledgers, cheque preparation, and online payment processing.
4. MIS, Payroll & Budgeting Assist with payroll processing and salary sheet preparation. Prepare monthly Bills Payable and comprehensive MIS reports using advanced data tools. Support management with cash flow tracking, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Requirements & Technical Skills: - Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience in ERP Software (Finsys/SAP/Zoho Book/Tally or similar)
   Excel Skills: Advanced MS Excel capabilities (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
   Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of GST, TDS, TCS, accounting standards, and local compliance portals.
   Audit Exposure: Direct experience facing statutory auditors and resolving audit queries independently.
   Traits: Strong analytical mindset, reconciliation accuracy, exceptional attention to detail, and cross functional communication.
   Qualifications: - Bachelor’s in Commerce (B. Com); M. Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or equivalent preferred

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
