SR. ACCOUNTANT

Job Responsibilities

• General Accounting:

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses as needed.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Purchase Order (PO) & Sales Invoice:

1. Process purchase orders and sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Verify pricing, quantities, and terms for accuracy and completeness.
3. Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.

• Check Preparation:

1. Prepare checks for payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
2. Review supporting documents and approvals for payment processing.
3. Record transactions accurately in the accounting system.

• Banking and Payroll:

1. Manage banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
2. Prepare and process payroll accurately, including taxes, benefits, and deductions.
3. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

• Taxation:

1. Assist in tax planning and compliance, including filing of tax returns.
2. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
3. Work with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English/Tagalog).
• Able to engage with Executive and Senior Management across the business and establish collaborative relationships.
• Proactive and a good team player.
• Relevant experience in F&B or Hospitality is a plus.
