About the Company

S K Translines Pvt. Ltd. is a logistics and transportation company providing road and railway transportation services across India. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the Finance & Accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain proper books of accounts.
• Manage sales and purchase invoices, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Handle GST-related work, including GST data preparation, reconciliation, and return-related coordination.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and related records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate bank records.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Verify bills, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
• Monitor customer outstanding, vendor outstanding, and payment status.
• Coordinate with the Billing, Operations, HR, and other departments for accounting-related requirements.
• Check and maintain proper records of LR billing, transportation bills, expenses, and other operational accounting documents.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
• Support statutory audits and provide required documents and data to auditors.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Ensure timely completion of accounting entries and month-end closing activities.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them with the concerned department.
• Prepare MIS and other reports required by management.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.
• Good knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and outstanding management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the transportation/logistics industry will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
