Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly US GAAP financial reporting packages.
• Convert Indian accounting records into US GAAP adjustments.
• Handle month-end/year-end closing, accruals and accounting adjustments.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Handle bonus, gratuity, leave encashment and foreign currency adjustments.
• Support consolidation and external audits.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare management reports, profitability and gross margin reports.
• Support payroll accounting through Keka HRMS.
• Handle/review GST, TDS and Professional Tax compliance.
• Coordinate billing activities with Project Managers and Billing teams.
• Monitor project billing milestones through Redmine.
• Support SOW, Change Request and contract administration.
• Assist with process improvement and other finance-related projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• 57 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in month-end closing, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• US GAAP / US Accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with Tally, QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and Professional Tax.
• Payroll accounting experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• B2B / IT / Software / Services industry experience is preferred.
• CA-Inter / CPA pursuing or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
