Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance Department at Alliance Group, Kim, Surat. The candidate will be responsible for accounting audits, purchase document verification, GST compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit and verify operational financial accounts, bills, and invoices.
• Check and verify purchase invoices and supporting documents for raw materials (RM).
• Prepare, check, and handle GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Verify purchase and sales data for GST compliance and reporting.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting entries and ensure necessary corrections.
• Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation.
• Coordinate with the Purchase, Store, and Accounts departments for document verification.
• Ensure timely completion of audit and GST-related activities.
• Prepare reports and maintain records for internal audits.
• Report accounting discrepancies and pending work to the reporting manager.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and auditing.
• Practical knowledge of GST returns, especially GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Experience in purchase bill auditing and invoice verification.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and GST compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with experience in manufacturing, textile, or recycling industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
