Sr Accounts Payable Specialist

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys owning the AP process from start to finish? We are partnering with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support a multi-entity environment and serve as a key member of the accounting team. This role will be filled on a temporary to permanent basis and the work schedule will include 2 days working in the Corporate office in Irving and 3 days WFH.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment processing
• Review and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper expense allocation
• Perform three-way matching and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Process vendor payments including checks, ACH transactions, and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items
• Serve as a primary contact for vendor inquiries and payment-related questions
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and workflow efficiencies

What We're Looking For

✅ 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience

✅ Experience working within a multi-location or multi-entity organization

✅ Strong understanding of invoice processing, account coding, payment execution, and reconciliations

✅ NetSuite and/or Great Plains ERP experience highly desired

✅ Prior success working in a hybrid environment

✅ Healthcare experience to include hospitals, clinics, and surgery centers is greatly desired
