Job Description: Senior Business Analyst (Operations, Analytics & Client Engagement)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber Senior Business Analyst with 6 to 9 years of experience to lead operational tracking, executive data analytics, and client engagement initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a strategic operational pillardriving process governance, managing enterprise admin software stacks, and leveraging the Microsoft Office Suite to transform complex operational data into executive-ready insights and high-stakes presentations.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in advanced MS Excel architecture, master-level PowerPoint storytelling, and proven leadership in managing high-touch client interactions and cross-functional team workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Data Analytics & Strategic Reporting (MS Excel & Power Platform)

• Complex Data Architecture: Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Excel models, automated performance dashboards, and data trackers using advanced functions (Index/Match, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, VBA/macros, and Power Query).
• Operational KPI Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on global practice performance, SLA compliance, utilization metrics, and financial/billing variances to drive executive decision-making.
• Predictive & Trend Analytics: Synthesize disparate datasets from multiple business systems into actionable trend analyses, identifying operational bottlenecks, risks, and efficiency opportunities.

2. Executive Storytelling & High-Stakes Presentations (MS PowerPoint)

• C-Suite & Board Deliverables: Conceptualize, structure, and design polished, executive-ready PowerPoint slide decks for Board meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and strategic client proposals.
• Data Visualization & Storytelling: Translate intricate technical data, operational workflows, and complex business metrics into clean, compelling visual narratives and executive summaries.
• Presentation Coaching: Partner with practice leaders to refine messaging, narrative flow, and visual alignment prior to major executive and external client briefings.

3. Admin Software Governance & Process Optimization

• Admin Stack Management: Oversee the daily administration, configuration, and user governance of internal enterprise software, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and project tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, ServiceNow).
• Workflow Automation: Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, Planner) to automate manual administrative tasks, approval chains, and document repositories.
• Tracking & Operational Governance: Maintain end-to-end tracking systems for strategic practice initiatives, action logs, contract lifecycles, and cross-team deliverables to ensure 100% accountability.

4. Strategic Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Client Interface & Account Governance: Act as a key operational liaison for client engagement activitiesmanaging routine client communications, status reporting, and governance cadence.
• Meeting Orchestration: Lead pre-meeting preparation, drive client-facing status calls, document structured Minutes of Meeting (MOM), and rigorously enforce post-meeting action item closure.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with internal delivery leads, sales executives, and practice managers to ensure seamless execution of client commitments and rapid resolution of operational escalations.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 6 to 9 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Operations Analyst, or Client Engagement BA.
• MS Office Mastery: Expert-level mastery of MS Excel (data modeling, macros, complex analytics) and MS PowerPoint (executive layout design, advanced formatting, storytelling).
• Software & Systems Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with administrative software, project management/ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Trello), CRM systems, and MS Productivity Apps (Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint).
• Data Synthesis & Reporting: Advanced capability in raw data hygiene, quantitative analysis, process mapping, and executive metric reporting.
