What You'll Be Doing Own requirements and functional analysis for the Digital Commerce capability, translating brand and business needs into delivery-ready specifications for the squad. Apply functional knowledge of digital commerce platforms to challenge, refine, and validate requirements before they enter development.

• Own requirements and functional analysis for the Shopify capability within the Digital Delivery function, translating business goals into delivery-ready requirements for the squad.
• Ensure business requirements are translated into well-defined features, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and executable delivery outcomes before they enter development.
• Delivered features meet their agreed acceptance criteria at UAT, minimizing defects traced back to unclear or incomplete requirements.
• Produce functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and maintain functional documentation in Confluence covering process flows, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, open questions, and change history.
• Produce UAT test scenarios, defect closure records, and requirements traceability from business need through to sign-off.
• Provide quality data to support the monthly SLA report presented back to the brands.
• Participate in discovery workshops with functional leads and business stakeholders to shape and clarify requirements.
• Support PI and sprint planning by refining requirements ready for estimation, identifying cross-functional and cross-system dependencies, and clarifying scope before commitment.
• Analyse customer feedback, support tickets, operational issues, and behavioral data using analytics platforms such as GA4 to identify recurring pain points and improvement opportunities, informing business outcomes such as conversion, AOV and adoption.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• 4 to 7 years in business or functional analysis within digital commerce.
• Experience analyzing and specifying requirements on SFCC or Shopify or Shopify Plus.
• Strong functional knowledge of capability, able to challenge and shape business requirements rather than only document them.
• Experience producing user stories and acceptance criteria and supporting UAT through to defect closure and sign-off.
• Usage proficiency in Jira and Confluence for backlog management and functional documentation.
• Ability to analyse business, product, and customer data to generate actionable insights,

diagnose KPI performance, identify root causes, and recommend clear next steps to

improve outcomes across digital commerce journeys.

• Experience using generative AI tools to support analysis and documentation.
• Certification in business analysis or agile delivery is nice to have.
• Preferred Profile: Retail or e-commerce domain experience. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and to operate effectively as a senior individual contributor. Profiles such as Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or Technical Analyst in digital commerce
