Sr Analytics Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Analytics Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This role will shape trusted data products that turn source data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders. You will partner across the organization to translate ambiguous questions into reliable analytics solutions, improve data quality, and strengthen the flow of data from ingestion through dashboard delivery. The position also offers the opportunity to automate repetitive work, evolve data architecture, and support AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $154,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own data products end to end, from source data to actionable dashboards
• Translate ambiguous business questions into trustworthy and maintainable data solutions
• Ensure data quality from source to screen through testing and monitoring
• Continuously improve data architecture and automate repetitive workflows using AI
• Enhance workflows and optimize data movement processes with an emphasis on accuracy

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a technical data role
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience in cloud data warehousing, preferably Snowflake
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data quality testing practices
• Experience with data integration platforms and how data moves through transformations
• Proficient in building dashboards and self-service data products using Power BI or equivalent
• Ability to distill ambiguous problems into reliable data solutions with strong communication skills
• Experience with AI agents and automated workflows supporting generative AI
