Sr. Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, modern Android development practices, and RESTful API integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Android applications.
• Build clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following Android development best practices.
• Work with modern Android architecture components, including MVVM, ViewModel, LiveData, and Kotlin Flow.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using XML layouts and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement dependency injection using tools such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines for version control, automated testing, and application releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical decisions.
• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Excellent understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and application lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture.
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and local databases such as Room or SQLite.
• Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and mocking tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Android security, performance optimization, and app publishing on the Google Play Store.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
