Sr. Android Engineer (Hospitality IoT Platform)

We are looking for Sr. Android Engineer (Kotlin / Jetpack Compose).

You will be involving…

• Implement feature enhancements and UI/UX optimisations for existing Android applications.
• Maintain production systems, ensure app stability, and perform root cause analysis for reported issues.
• Work with modern codebase where MVP/Jetpack Compose (Android) are utilised.
• Active participation in the Scrum process, collaborating on sprint goals and deliverables.
• Ensure high testing coverage through rigorous unit and integration testing.
• Participate in peer design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure consistency across both platforms.

We are looking for…

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in native mobile development.

• Android: Strong command of Jetpack Compose and MVP architecture.

• Efficiency in bug fixing and maintaining application stability.

• Solid experience in Unit Test frameworks, e.g. XCTest, JUnit, etc.

• Solid experience in Push Notification development and lifecycle management.

• Understanding of mobile architecture patterns, e.g. MVVM, MVP, etc.

• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.

• Solid experience working within a SCRUM team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
