Sr Android/IOS Developer

• The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, along with strong proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java to deliver robust cross-platform mobile solutions.
• Candidates should be proficient in leveraging GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate code generation, improve code quality, and enhance developer productivity across the mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience architecting scalable mobile applications using design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture, with a strong understanding of RESTful API integration and third-party SDK implementation.
• Proven track record of publishing and maintaining applications on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including handling app store reviews, versioning, and release management processes.
• Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimization, memory management, battery efficiency, and security best practices for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitrise, Fastlane, or Jenkins for automated mobile builds and deployments.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and contribute to technical architecture decisions within a cross-functional product team in Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Android/iOS Developer with 7-8 years of hands-on experience in building and shipping high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms, based out of Bengaluru who should work at Client Location.

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications from concept to deployment, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and a seamless user experience across devices.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted coding tools to streamline development workflows, reduce boilerplate code, and maintain consistent coding standards across the mobile codebase.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements and design mockups into fully functional mobile features.
• Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in Android SDK and iOS development, ensuring adherence to platform-specific guidelines and internal engineering standards.
• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues across a wide range of Android and iOS devices and OS versions.
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable mobile application features while evaluating new technologies, frameworks, and libraries to continuously improve the development stack.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, push notification services, and analytics SDKs into mobile applications while ensuring data security and compliance requirements are met.
• Mentor junior and mid-level mobile developers, provide technical guidance, and actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement within the engineering team.
