1、Bachelor or above in Materials Science, Physics, or Engineering.

2、Min. 5 years industry experience. Working experience with processing and qualification of (optical or technical) glass product.

3、Strong analytical skills and communication skills Problem solving oriented; Self-motivated with good organization skills Fluent in English and Chinese, with both written and spoken.

Major Duties

Job Scope: Under the guidance of Senior Application manager, provides technical service for SBF Optical Industry in the product area of optical glass, glass wafers, glass component and other optical glass products to our customers and meet customer requirements. Main Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support to customers in the product area of optical glass, glass wafers, glass component and other optical glass products. Work closely with sales team.
• Provide support at R&D department and/or production sites of customers and support the qualification of our products in customers’ processes.
• Develop technical competence and knowledge in the field of application of our products in consumer electronics industry (mobile devices), opto-communication industry (AI Data Ceneter). Develop technologies and knowhow in the field of cold processing of glass by various analytical methods and by close cooperation with SCHOTT production sites and technologies centers.
• Organize technical evaluation of new products as well as the competitor benchmark testing; Make continuous optimization and improvement on the performance of products with the close cooperation with SCHOTT experts.
• Prepare reports for all customer activities & lab evaluations, and presentations for projects, with high quality standard and time measures.
• Coordinates internal tests and development projects.
