Sr Applications Engineer

Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations):

• Understand customer application needs and recommend the best product configuration.
• Act as a trusted advisor and provide solution consultation.
• Engage with existing and potential customers to identify needs and propose solutions.
• Support qualification testing of new products.
• Record customer issues and document resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for product and solution improvement.
• Provide feedback to RD and influence product requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of customers, competitors, and market solutions.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical support.
• Conduct technical demonstrations, training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Mentor junior team members.

Academic qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Optics, or a related technical field.
• Masters Degree (M.S.) or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience (exposure):

• 5+ years of experience in Applications Engineering.
• Strong experience in spectroscopy, customer application support, and solution consulting.
• Experience in product qualification, technical training, and customer engagement.
• Exposure to cross functional collaboration with Sales and RD teams.
